Hybrid and flexible working

You can strike the right work-life balance for you and Moore Kingston Smith with our flexible hybrid working approach, which carefully balances the needs of our people with the requirements of our clients.

To succeed at work, you need to feel supported for life outside of your role. As such, we encourage a positive work-life balance for all. This looks different for everyone, so flexibility is key, as is clear communication within teams. Most teams spend 2 – 3 days in the office per week, depending on the role. To provide flexibility around the school run, deliveries, or attending appointments, we operate core hours of 10am – 3pm within our standard working hours of 9 – 5:30pm.

If you seek part time roles, or more flexible hours, we’re more than happy to consider it – our people work a variety of patterns. So, do reach out to enquire about this if any opportunity on our careers page is of interest.

Holistic approach to reward and generous benefits

Your growth, contribution, and performance are key to our success, and we offer a comprehensive and transparent reward strategy reflective of this.

Everyone is individual, so, in addition to your pay, we’ve carefully selected a flexible benefits package that enables you to choose the perks that work for you, such as the option to buy and sell holiday, as well as a suite of leading people benefits, tools and policies.

From day one of employment, welcoming a child to the family, whether through adoption, surrogacy, or childbirth, is supported by our generous family-friendly benefits package. Enhanced maternity/adoption/primary caregiver pay is paid for 6 months at 100% pay followed by four months at 50% pay. Paternity, adoption or secondary caregiver leave comprises 6 weeks at 100% pay and can be taken flexibly in 2-week blocks over 18 months.

Your health and wellbeing are important to us. Ensuring our people feel able to take the time off required to recover when either is suffering, sick leave is paid in full for three months, followed by half pay for three months. And, empowering you at various stages of your career and life, and/or to help ensure a smooth return to work following a career break or absence, we have approaches in place to support fertility treatment, pregnancy loss and bereavement, sickness, parenting and caring responsibilities, menopause, and other life events.

Enabling you to participate in the causes close to your heart, we match fund sponsorship monies raised for any registered charity, and offer an additional day of paid leave to use for volunteering with the initiatives you are passionate about.

Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI)

We value diversity and are passionate about equity and inclusion, as we believe it’s the input and perspectives of our people that help make our firm – and our clients – thrive. We are committed to attracting talented individuals from a wide and diverse talent pool, as we seek to build a team that is representative of the diverse community we serve.

In recent years, we have made great strides in this area, and we are proud to have implemented many changes that have helped us to build a more agile team; to improve our gender pay gap; and to develop our Equity, Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and policy with the invaluable help of our dedicated ED&I Committee.

Even still, we recognise that there will always be ways in which we can grow and learn as an organisation, and we are committed to continuing to listen, learn and improve. We welcome applications from those who can help us on our journey and who wish to bring their authentic selves to work each day and help us build a sustainable and inclusive workplace of the future.
