Corporate Social Responsibility

Corporate social responsibility is important and we take pride in our relationships with the communities around us. We know how important those communities are to us as a business. When developing our services, we have a role to play in improving services for the community as a whole, not just to clients and private individuals.

We work hard to engage with the local communities where we operate at a range of different levels – as customers, neighbours, potential employees, businesses and residents. Our focus is always to play a part in promoting socially inclusive ways of working. This extends to the quality of services we provide in those communities.

We offer employment opportunities to all sectors of the community through non-discriminatory policies and promoting opportunities to all groups.

We actively encourage engagement between our people and the community. Many of our partners and staff volunteer time to local charities and organisations, either as Trustees, volunteers or through fundraising. Volunteering is encouraged through our charity partnership programme as well as several different fundraising opportunities. Many of our partners and people are actively involved with public service work which serves the wider community.

We also work alongside the wider community day to day. Our nonprofit and nonprofit advisory teams carry out pro bono work for charities in a personal capacity, as well as providing time and specialist expertise, including free seminars and technical bulletins and taking the time to help educate trustees. Our CSR offering to the local community has substantial value in terms of contributing practical help to make a real difference.

In terms of the wider global community, we look to identify ways to assist with development and tackle poverty and hardship.
