Beyond Compliance – Fundraising strategies for a critical world

Start date: February 19, 2019 4:30pm registration for a 5:00pm start.

Join us for a seminar exploring how to plan for great fundraising initiatives while remaining compliant with current and future governance requirements.

Good fundraising is essentially the art of connecting people wanting to give to good causes with the organisations doing the good work. One barrier to good fundraising that we often encounter is fear of non-compliance.

The increased burden of regulation since 2015 has inhibited some charities from fundraising as creatively as possible. A more challenging funding environment has also caused trustees to review their risk appetite and related control measures. Fundraisers face the challenge of balancing time spent on compliance versus time spent on actually raising money.

This seminar is ideal for charity fundraising leaders, trustees, chief executives and those responsible for governance. It’s also a great opportunity to network with your peers after the event.
