Bitesize Breakfast Briefings: Who Needs an IT Strategy?

Start date: February 2, 2016 7.30am

Ineffective IT decisions can hold a business back, prevent growth and waste large sums of money. Why then do so few businesses take a long range view and carefully plan their IT expenditure?
Advantages of a planned IT strategy:

  • Business aspirations can be supported with appropriate IT systems at the right time
  • Costs can be budgeted for
  • Purchasing decisions made at a quiet time provide better ROI than when in distress
  • Awareness of emerging technologies and the best time to adopt.

This seminar will be useful for any business that feels they are overspending on IT, in the dark with emerging technologies or that their competition is way ahead of them with their use of technology.

The speaker is Russ McKenzie (MD of nTrust Systems Ltd), he will discuss the importance, the approach and the on-going actions involved with creating and maintaining an IT strategy for your business.

Russ McKenzie has worked in IT for over 30 years, working for many large companies before leaving British Airways Travel Shops as Head of IT and starting the Redhill based IT services company nTrust Systems Ltd in 2003.
