Brexit: Facing uncertainty head-on

Start date: August 18, 2016 11.30am

It’s happened. The UK has decided to leave the EU and although for most the outcome was an unexpected one, the Brexit verdict is in and is here to stay. The voluntary sector faces months of uncertainty and with no current, Government-lead plan in place, what does Brexit mean for NFP – in particular charitable organisations?

At Kingston Smith we understand that tough times are ahead, but with our knowledge and expertise in the charities sector we can help you minimise the risks that may affect your organisation. By holding a series of roundtable events, we want to hear what concerns you have, whether it’s potential funding cuts or proposed changes in legislation, we want you to tell us what difficulties you foresee in the coming months.

It’s important that we involve as many charitable organisations as possible and as we appreciate everyone is extremely busy we have a number of available dates throughout August and September. We want these sessions to be as open and productive as possible with each one being chaired by our NFP specialist partners who have a wealth of experience across charities in areas ranging from fundraising, VAT and tax and legislation.

If you would like to attend, please email us at events@mks.co.uk with your chosen date.

These sessions will run from 11.30-3.00pm and lunch and refreshments will be provided.
