Changes to charity fundraising regulation: Understanding the implications – Redhill Office

Start date: September 28, 2016 4.30pm

Trustees and charity executives need to balance risk aversion and compliance to regulations with the need to integrate their charity’s values into its fundraising practice, and to innovate in order to find funding to meet beneficiary needs. The recent changes to the Charity Commission’s CC20 guidance on trustees and fundraising highlights these challenges.

This seminar will help trustees and charity executives interpret the new guidance and apply it to their own charity’s practice. You will leave with a clear understanding of the six principles, how to brief fellow trustees about some of the legal responsibilities of trusteeship, and advice about where to find support if required.

Time: 4.30pm registration, for a 5.00pm start. Ends 6.15pm.
