Charities sector update 2024 and addressing the Budget
Now that the much-anticipated Autumn Budget has come and gone, it has left a very sour taste across the charities sector.
Our experts will cover the key areas they believe will impact charities the hardest:
- Additional costs in the form of the increases to Employers’ NI, Living Wage and the National Minimum Wage.
- Indications of further charity taxation legislation in an already complicated area.
- Potential additional funding, social investment, and support for charities, but with limited initial information.
We will, of course, update you on our key themes:
Accounting, audit and governance update.
- Employment tax update.
- Investments update.
- Data transformation and AI for Charities.
- Legal update.
We expect a lively debate so if you have any questions you would like to send to our speakers in advance, please email Vanessa at vgomez@mks.co.uk and they will address them in the update.
Don’t miss out on this exciting event! We look forward to seeing you!
