Harnessing good governance to maximise your charity’s effectiveness

Start date: March 19, 2020 4.30pm registration, 5.00pm start, 6.00pm finish, followed by canapés and refreshments

Good governance is fundamental to the wellbeing of all charities so it is important that trustee boards take the time to review their governance arrangements and ensure they are fit for purpose. This session will show you how to maintain a robust governance framework by embedding the principles of the new Charity Governance Code into your organisation.

A working appreciation of the new Charity Governance Code is crucial for all trustees – not just the chair of the Board. For that reason we recommend this as a must for all trustees to build a knowledge and understanding of the new regime.

Moore Kingston Smith’s Not for Profit partners Karen Wardell and Luke Holt will draw upon practical examples and apply the invaluable principles of the code for charities.
