How to Recruit, Reward and Retain – RCSLT, London

This one-day training course is suitable for anyone who manages people and wants to learn more about the “do’s and don’ts” of recruiting, rewarding and retaining their staff.   It will provide a number of tools and techniques that can be used in these three areas, allowing managers to feel more confident in their recruitment decisions, understanding contractual and non-contractual reward and how to retain and motivate their staff.

The training will be led by a qualified and experienced HR Consultant, who will also be able to advise you on your own situations and processes throughout the day.  There will be a number of tools and techniques for you to take away with you. 

To ensure that you feel confident putting your new skills into practice, we also offer a 30 minute complimentary telephone follow-up session with one of our Consultants, to guide you on a particular process that you are working on back in the workplace.

Topics to be covered will include:

  • The “do’s and don’ts” of recruitment
  • The art of creating a job description and job advert
  • Selection tools – The options and which ones might be right for the job
  • Onboarding and Induction – You’ve got them, now do you retain them?
  • Getting pay, incentives and non financial reward right for your business
  • Tips on how to retain and motivate your staff
