Making Tax Digital: what does it mean for you?
Join us for a lively discussion on Making Tax Digital and the implications for your organisation, presented by Debbie Jennings and Nicki Savill at our local offices.
From 1 April 2019, Making Tax Digital for VAT will be mandatory for all businesses and organisations with turnover above the VAT threshold – currently £85,000 per annum. This means VAT returns will need to be kept digitally and filed directly via HMRC’s compatible cloud software.
MTD for other taxes will follow with effect from 1 April 2020, so this is one of the most significant developments for businesses and organisations to be aware of.
The seminar will cover:
- What is Making Tax Digital?
- Ensuring your organisation is prepared
- Minimising risks and maximising potential savings for VAT
- Kingston Smith’s strategic review and practical solutions using digital software.
Who should attend
Owners and managers of businesses, self-employed, landlords, SMEs, financial directors, not for profit organisations who are approaching or above the threshold of £85,000.
Further information is available on our MTD Hub.
