Managing Change in your Business
This one-day training course is suitable for anyone who wants to know more about the practices and processes of managing change within a business.
It will provide a sound level of understanding and practical guidance about managing change, allowing managers, owner/managers or those new to HR to be more confident to safely manoeuvre through the change process.
Being able to approach change in your business in a positive way can retain or increase employee engagement, thereby helping to eliminate the risks of reduced productivity and employee turnover which can often accompany change in the workplace.
The training will be led by a qualified and experienced HR Consultant, who will also be able to answer questions relating to specific “real-life” situations including changing terms and conditions of employment, restructuring, changing business processes etc. There will be opportunities to practice responding to scenarios so as to put knowledge into practice and to get feedback.
To ensure that you feel confident putting your new skills into practice, we also offer a 30 minute complimentary telephone follow-up session with one of our Consultants, to guide you on a particular process that you are working on back in the workplace.
Topics to be covered will include:
- The essentials for approaching change successfully
- Legal obligations
- Managing risks and opportunities
- The stages of change
- Managing the impact of change
- The importance of communication
Time: From 10am to 4.30pm; includes all course materials, reference materials and refreshments throughout the course.
