Post – General Election 2015… what will this mean for business?
This year’s General Election is expected to result in one of the most uncertain outcomes in decades, but what will this mean for you and your business?
Join us for a post-election briefing, where renowned guest speaker Justin Urquhart Stewart, Economic commentator and Co-Founder of Seven Investment Management, the newly elected MP for Reigate, together with specialist tax partner, Tim Stovold from Top 20 accountancy firm, Kingston Smith LLP will discuss the economic and fiscal outlook and its effect on UK business.
Justin is one of the most recognisable and trusted market commentators on television, radio and in the press. Originally trained as a lawyer, he has observed a unique understanding of the market’s roles and benefits for the private investor. Having then trained as a barrister, Justin worked in international corporate finance, working in both Africa and Singapore then back in the UK. This led Justin to help found Broker Services in 1986, which went on to become Barclays Stockbrokers where he was Corporate Development Director. In early 2001, he co-founded Seven Investment Management (7IM).
After Justin’s insight into the UK economy post-Election, Reigate’s newly elected MP will offer their perspective on the recent Election and detail what they envisage for local businesses and the economy over the next 5 years.
Tim will then explain what the Chancellor’s Budget earlier in the year will mean to UK businesses and what changes we can expect following the Election.
