5. What’s the essence of our organisation that we should remain true to, and what should we let go? Defining the core values and essential elements of our organisation helps maintain clarity. Simultaneously, we should identify and let go of aspects that are no longer relevant or may hinder future growth.

6. What are the tensions that we need to consider? Nonprofits often face paradoxes such as balancing purpose with profit, ambition with reality, and individual needs with collective wellbeing. Addressing these tensions transparently within the broader context of impact, people, and resources is essential.

7. Evolution vs revolution? The best approach often involves a series of subtle yet significant shifts, combined with carefully considered leaps. Developing a coherent and credible roadmap that everyone can support is crucial to avoid overload and overwhelm.
