James Davenport named in Accountancy Age’s 35 under 35
We’re delighted to announce that James Davenport, a partner in our Audit & Accounts Team, has been recognised in Accountancy Age’s 35 under 35. This flagship ranking celebrates the next generation of professionals who are driving innovation, championing change and making a real impact in their firms and the wider profession.
James has been celebrated for dedicating his career to supporting entrepreneurs and owner-managed businesses. As a partner, he has shown exceptional leadership in how our firm supports growing businesses through developing a deep comprehension of their ambitions and needs, innovation, client impact and team mentorship.
MooreMentum is a flat-rate, success-based service designed around what success means to clients. This approach aligns fees with client outcomes; forges enduring partnerships and makes services more accessible for smaller businesses. The impact has been significant, with James and his team helping clients achieve profit growth in as little as two years, turning around loss-making businesses, guiding generational succession and supporting multimillion-pound exits. Through MooreMentum, James has built long-lasting client relationships, becoming an integral part of their teams.
Beyond client work, James plays a key role in developing the next generation of accountants. Having trained at the firm himself, he now mentors our junior colleagues, supports strategic planning through team development days and promotes our culture of learning and innovation.
Outside of his daily work, James leads the firm’s partnership with King’s College’s Accelerator Programme and serves as a school governor for his former primary school.
