Kingston Smith is pleased to announce the acquisition of Essex-based accountancy firm Memact. The family-run practice, led by Mike McCarthy, has been established for more than 20 years and has a diverse range of clients.

Kingston Smith partner Dan Martine, from the Romford office, said: “We are delighted to welcome Memact to the Kingston Smith team. Their friendly, approachable and professional style is a great fit for our client-focused and people-oriented culture. I’m looking forward to working with Memact’s clients, who will now all be able to benefit from the comprehensive range of services we offer at Kingston Smith.”

Mike McCarthy added: “Kingston Smith is just the firm I was looking for. I wanted an accountancy firm with local knowledge and expertise, while also offering a breadth of resources and services to fully support my clients at every stage of their business journey. Their personal, partner-led approach is one which my clients will be familiar with and I feel that my clients can only benefit from this move.”

Memact was based in Collier Row, Romford, before the team joined the Romford office of Kingston Smith at Orbital House, Eastern Road.
