Moore Kingston Smith advises Modella on Hobbycraft acquisition

Moore Kingston Smith is delighted to have advised Modella Capital on their successful acquisition of Hobbycraft, the UK’s largest arts and crafts retailer. The tax team provided tax due diligence and structuring services, ensuring the deal was completed both commercially and tax-efficiently under a tight deadline.

The team included M&A Tax Director Thomas Acland, Partner Mark Fielden and Tax Manager Sam Talbot who provided comprehensive tax due diligence and structuring services. Working closely with Modella’s legal and commercial advisers, the team ensured the deal was executed efficiently and effectively.
