Moore Kingston Smith is delighted to announce that Anna Ganjolla has been promoted to Director in the firm’s Theatre Practice. Working alongside Partner Mark Twum-Ampofo, Head of Moore Kingston Smith’s dedicated Theatre Team, Anna plays an integral role in supporting the theatre industry as it navigates the pandemic era and beyond.

Anna is a well-known figure within the theatre industry, recognised for her extensive experience in the sector and with an unparalleled reputation for delivery. Heading the Production Accounts team, she is in daily contact with everyone involved in the show from individual crew members, through the production team to lead producers and investors. Using real-time data to support and empower her clients to make key business decisions quickly is where Anna’s true passion lies, and she is devoted to guiding them through the complexities of the finances, enabling them to focus on what they do best. With the arrival of the Coronavirus, Anna embraced the opportunity to maintain regular virtual contact, provide ongoing bespoke support, and offer insight to her clients at a time of unprecedented uncertainty.

Anna joined Moore Kingston Smith in May 2017 as part of the firm’s acquisition of Anderson & Pennington, a practice that specialised in the provision of accountancy and taxation services to the theatre industry. Anna has been central in providing a joined-up approach within the firm, bringing together technical expertise and sector knowledge and understanding, enabling the team to deliver a uniquely tailored service to clients.

Anna said of her new position: “I’m overjoyed to become Director. It’s been truly rewarding to be a part of Moore Kingston Smith’s theatre practice, working with Mark to shape the growth and development of the team into what we are today, the go-to firm for theatre, and I’m excited for the future. I draw immense pride, joy, and satisfaction from supporting this dynamic industry. It is a privilege to work with such a talented group of people and to be so trusted by them – our clients rely on us as a vital part of their business. Building really strong and deep relationships is absolutely central to what we do and our clients massively value that, as much as they do our expert advice and support.”

Managing Partner Maureen Penfold said: “I’m thrilled to see Anna promoted to Director – it’s a testament to her understanding of, and contributions to, our growing theatre practice. It has been a pleasure to see Anna move through the ranks over the past four years, and we are proud to offer an environment at Moore Kingston Smith that attracts and retains such a high level of talent.”
