Moore Kingston Smith is pleased to announce that Gary De Souza, Adam Fullerton, Jamie Seaford, Stephanie Sharpe, John Williams and Tim Gonzaga have been promoted to Director. This latest round of promotions further strengthens the firm’s tax, audit and advisory offerings, and reflects the dedication and experience of several long-standing members of the team.

Gary has over 10 years’ experience in the media sector encompassing audit, accounting, and tax compliance services, working closely with his clients to define strategies for both current and future financial activity. Providing both commercial and technical support to a range of businesses from start-ups to large international groups, Gary also works on special projects including business valuations, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and advisory work.

Adam has 13 years’ experience spanning audit, accounts, tax compliance, and general advisory work. His key sectors of focus include education, armed forces, and medical charities, including a number of high-profile NHS charities, as well as membership organisations and trade associations. Adam advises on group restructures and detailed systems and controls reviews as an extension to his statutory audit work.

Jamie works with large international groups and UK-based owner-managed businesses, providing audit, accountancy, and other compliance-based services, as well as strategic advice. Advising architects, surveyors, consulting engineers, consultancy practices and food and beverage businesses as they progress on their growth journeys, Jamie identifies and develops considered priorities to support development for commercial success.

Stephanie is a qualified Chartered Tax Adviser, advising across all areas of tax and intergenerational wealth planning, including Family Trusts. Kickstarting her career at the Inland Revenue over 30 years ago, Stephanie is experienced in both sides of the client interaction with HMRC and has a real-world understanding of client needs having been a company director in a voluntary capacity for many years.

John provides compliance and advisory services across a broad range of sectors including finance, technology, media, and manufacturing with a focus on the employment tax implications resulting from the rapidly changing working landscape. This includes advising employers on the application of the ‘off payroll’ working rules and the use of contractors, as well as international working arrangements.

Tim is relied upon by clients on matters relating to reporting and auditing issues, working on financial reporting projects including the application of accounting standards including IFRS across several sectors including property, media, and charities. Thriving on understanding the issues businesses face today, Tim writes and delivers training courses for the firm’s clients and people, keeping them well informed in this ever-evolving space.

Managing Partner Maureen Penfold said: “I am delighted to see Gary, Adam, Jamie, Stephanie, John and Tim promoted to Director.
