Moore Kingston Smith is pleased to announce that its gender pay gap is further reduced for 2019. Not only has the firm’s mean pay gap fallen to just 3.8% from 4.8% in 2018, but also its median gender pay gap now stands at 0%.

The top 20 accountancy firm has been working to reduce its gender pay gap, and has succeeded in almost halving it in the last three years. This is a significant achievement, particularly against the backdrop of the wider industry. Additionally, Moore Kingston Smith facilitates a successful internal mentoring programme and professional skills training that build line management and leadership capability across the firm.

Managing Partner Maureen Penfold said: “I am delighted and proud of the continued improvement of our gender pay gap scores. In the coming year, we will be focusing more on an unconscious bias as we move the pay gap towards 0%. We have strong female role models in the firm and are committed to our overarching agenda highlighting employee engagement, wellbeing, agile working and diversity.”
