Moore Kingston Smith helps Emmy-nominated producer launch customisable TV platform

Must TV is the brainchild of Richard Farmbrough, Emmy-nominated producer and founder of Reef Television. Having spotted a gap in the market, Richard built a platform that enables viewers to curate their own viewing guide from the numerous TV and view-on-demand services now available. As a long-term client of Moore Kingston Smith, Richard once again turned to the accountancy and business advisory firm for their media-sector expertise.

In late 2019, Richard approached Partner and trusted adviser Graham Tyler, detailing his new business venture and needing advice on how to set up and structure the company. Richard also needed guidance on how best to deal with a range of practical and commercial issues through the initial phase of his new venture. Graham and his team had previously advised Richard as his TV production company Reef TV developed and grew and, later, through its sale process to Zinc Media.

Graham and the team assisted in finding investors and dealing with all tax aspects of the first enterprise investment scheme fundraise in July 2020. They continue to provide assistance on all accounting and tax issues following Must TV’s launch.
