Moore Kingston Smith launches the Moore Kingston Smith Community Foundation

Moore Kingston Smith announces the launch of the Moore Kingston Smith Community Foundation.

With a long history of undertaking innovative and rewarding projects to support the needs of local communities, forming the Moore Kingston Smith Community Foundation is a natural next step in demonstrating the firm’s commitment to the community.

The Foundation will be ring-fenced from Moore Kingston Smith LLP and set up as a separate entity, meaning donors can have total confidence that their donations will be well stewarded in line with the Foundation’s charitable objectives.

The appointed Trustees are Paul Samrah, Graham Tyler, Tim Stovold, Victoria Pounder, Sophie Lord, and Neil Finlayson.

Maureen Penfold, Managing Partner of Moore Kingston Smith said of the launch: “With the growth of the firm we’ve seen over the past three years, it makes sense for us to launch our own Foundation. It will provide greater community engagement opportunities, demonstrate that giving back is extremely important to us, and ultimately broaden our collective impact.”

Moore Kingston Smith match-funds sponsorship monies raised for any registered charity, enabling employees to support their own chosen cause, but with additional backing from the firm.

Over the past four and a half years, Moore Kingston Smith has raised over £210,000 for previous Charity Partner The Rainbow Trust and current Partner, Mind. With the pandemic affecting fundraising over the past year, the firm has agreed to continue the partnership with Mind for a further year, through to April 2022.
