Redhill accountants’ annual Charity Quiz Night benefits two local charities to the tune of £2,500

Local charity The Children’s Trust in Tadworth and Crawley based St. Catherine’s Hospice were, this week, thrilled to each receive a cheque for £1,250 from Kingston Smith LLP in Redhill, following the accountancy firm’s successful and fun annual Charity Quiz Night.

The Quiz Night, in its 17th year, was a huge success, with teams comprising owner-managed businesses, banks, solicitors and surveyors from Surrey and Sussex. Following tough competition over ten rounds, the winners were Brewin Dolphin – with the team name Brewin Bulls.

Quiz night MC and Kingston Smith Redhill partner, Paul Samrah, commented: “I am always overwhelmed by the generosity and enthusiasm of our friends and colleagues in the industry and surrounding community who come out en masse to support our Charity Quiz Night and help make it such a fantastic evening.”

He continued: “I’d like to congratulate Brewin Dolphin for their success on the night; but of course the real winners are those who benefit from the amazing work carried out by St Catherine’s Hospice and The Children’s Trust – and we are delighted to support these worthy causes.”
