The Telegraph: John Hood on furloughed workers with company cars

John Hood takes The Telegraph through the maths on company car allowances in terms of value, fuel and emissions. Hood said: “If the car is not available for 30 consecutive days or more, the benefit can be reduced. With many people facing genuine financial hardship at present, it would make sense for Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) to offer to relax the rules around company cars.”
