The UK architecture sector has experienced notable developments over the past year. Fee income for architect practices rose in 2024, however the built environment sector has been grappling with economic obstacles such as high building and energy costs and shortages in labour and materials. Coupled with rising costs, this has meant that an increase in fee income has not translated into an increase in profits.
