James Saunders, Partner at Moore Kingston Smith introduced three panellists who spoke about their experiences during the Coronavirus crisis, with the discussion focusing on business strategy through the crisis and as the country starts to exit lockdown.

Jamie Sherman, Partner at Moore Kingston Smith, covered his experience with clients, which included keeping sight of core strategic aims amid the flurry of day-to-day activity, and reviewing strategic objectives as lockdown eases.

Claire Burroughs, Managing Director at Ansacom described her journey as a business owner-manager through the crisis period, from panic to control and then to recovery, with the focus on cash management promoting efficient working practices that will be ingrained in the business after the crisis.

Robert MacGregor, Managing Director at Corinthian Benefits Consulting provided further confirmation of the importance of cash flow management and evidence during the period, along with observations about the vital importance of his people in the crisis – how well they had responded and worked during the crisis period, and how any future business strategy will be heavily impacted by changes in people management.
