We think it is fair to say that we are football-mad at Moore Kingston Smith. We’ve been sponsoring Leyton Orient for years and are proud to be back-of-shirt sponsors of both the men’s and women’s teams. We’re even prouder to wear the O’s kit in the occasional business friendly.
Leyton Orient and Moore Kingston Smith are both keen advocates of diversity, inclusivity, community and wellbeing, which is what makes our partnership so natural. We both also partnered with mental health charity Mind, working to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues as well as helping those in need. Moore Kingston Smith wholeheartedly supported the ‘Talk it Out’ video, even landing the odd cameo role.
Given our close relationship, it’s not surprising that Leyton Orient got to hear about Moore Kingston Smith’s decision to train in-house mental health first aiders and our resulting voyage of discovery. When the O’s followed suit and started looking into training mental health first aiders, we were thrilled to share our experiences, personal stories and staff communications strategy.
Not ones to sit still, the O’s already have their first cohort of fully trained mental health first aiders. They are embracing their new role, initiating inclusive activities, raising awareness and opening up the conversation.
At Moore Kingston Smith, our clients know us for being professional yet down-to-earth accountants and business advisers. We get a kick (pun intended) out of helping businesses, private individuals and non-profits thrive, through the good times and the tough times.
Up the O’s!
