Alex Evans has over two decades of transformative experience across public, private, and voluntary sectors. With a unique blend of academic rigour and practical expertise, Alex specialises in driving sustainable change and strategic innovation for nonprofit organisations. His extensive experience spans roles from CEO and Director in delivery organisations to positions in grant-making bodies and local authority commissioning. He has led high-impact consultancy projects for organisations ranging from grassroots charities to multi-million-pound trusts and foundations.
His expertise covers voluntary sector infrastructure, children and young people, older people, LGBTQ+ issues, health and wellbeing, homelessness, and place-based regeneration. With a PhD in Cultural and Critical Theory, Alex brings a distinctive analytical perspective to his consultancy work, conducting influential research and evaluations that have shaped policy and practice. As a former lecturer, he is also a committed teacher and engaging facilitator.
