Alison Kerrey is a partner leading the firm’s technical tax team, ensuring they remain at the forefront of evolving tax policy, technical matters and legislative changes.
A seasoned tax policy expert with over 20 years’ experience across technical and knowledge roles makes Alison fluent in tax, and able to communicate complex changes in an accessible way. Her proactive approach keeps the team well-versed in current regulations. With a passion for knowledge sharing, Alison ensures everyone has the support and training required as tax law and policy continuously evolves.
Alison has extensive experience engaging with HMRC and HM Treasury on new and developing tax policy areas, including the government’s Making Tax Digital plan, which will have significant implications for businesses and individuals. This is complemented by her interest in broader changes influencing tax policy and the profession, including regulatory and technological developments.
A member of various ICAEW and CIOT technical committees, Alison also chairs the joint ATT-CIOT Digitalisation and Agent Services Committee.
