Anjali Kothari

Anjali Kothari is a partner and Head of the firm’s award-winning Nonprofit team. With over 25 years’ experience, including more than two decades at Moore Kingston Smith, Anjali’s a trusted adviser to a broad portfolio of clients, from charities to independent schools and academies, as well as international and national complex groups.

Anjali began her career in the commercial sector before finding a real connection and passion for making a difference in the nonprofit space. She’s recognised for her expertise in navigating complex regulatory environments, including IFRS and FRS, as well as tax and VAT matters. She works closely with her clients to help them manage risk, adapt to change and plan for long term success, bringing insight into the unique opportunities and challenges nonprofits face, from funding pressures to digital transformation. She also provides training to trustee boards and takes part in seminars and sessions for key sector groups.

Her dedication to the nonprofit sector is matched by her commitment to building our collaborative and knowledgeable team, empowering them to continue providing an exceptional service that helps organisations realise their goals.

Beyond her day-to-day, Anjali’s actively involved in various sector committees, including the ICAEW Technical Committee, and she’s Treasurer of the Association of Montessori International.
