Anna Matveeva

Anna is an audit partner working with a variety of UK and international clients. She leads our retail group, offering specialised compliance and advisory services to address unique challenges faced by the retail businesses. Anna’s experience additionally spans industries including technology, manufacturing, sports and leisure, and recruitment.

With a specialism in audit and assurance, Anna’s focus is on medium and large groups with UK and international subsidiaries, or medium-sized entities forming part of a larger group. Anna’s knowledge is broad, and she has a sound understanding of both UK GAAP and International Accounting Standards, as well as the complexities of audit including group reporting under ISA 600.

Anna’s clients acknowledge her dedication to their success, her open, honest communication and her ability to help them quickly identify pragmatic solutions. Anna’s advice is sensible and pertinent, and she goes above and beyond to deliver results. She adds value for her clients through practical recommendations to improve internal controls and enable more accurate data outputs that assist in better decision making.

Anna also has experience in advisory, corporate finance, corporation and R&D tax, and she regularly works with our specialists in these areas when appropriate to meet her clients’ needs.

Having been in practice since 2008, Anna joined Moore Kingston Smith in 2017 from Moore Stephens LLP. She has built and maintains strong connections across the Moore Global network, utilising international expertise to remain at the forefront and ensure a consistently high quality service for her clients.

Anna is also part of the ICAEW Retail Community Advisory Group.
