Anna Matveeva

Anna Matveeva is an audit partner working with a variety of UK and international clients across multiple sectors, including technology, recruitment, manufacturing, retail, sports and leisure. She is based in the city office and is part of the team delivering services to groups and VC-backed businesses.

With her specialism in audit and assurance, Anna’s focus is on medium and large groups with UK and international subsidiaries, or medium-sized entities that form part of the larger group. Having worked with a wide range of businesses, Anna’s knowledge is broad, and she has a solid understanding of both UK GAAP and International Accounting Standards, as well as the complexities of audit including group reporting under ISA 600.

Anna’s clients acknowledge her dedication to their success, her open, honest communication and her ability to help them quickly identify pragmatic solutions for the challenges they face. They feel Anna’s advice is sensible and pertinent and note how willing she is to go above and beyond to deliver on deadlines. She adds value for her clients through practical recommendations to improve internal controls and enable more accurate data outputs that assist in better decision making.

Anna also has experience in advisory, corporate finance, corporation and R&D tax, and she regularly works with our specialists in these areas when appropriate to meet her clients’ needs.

Having been in practice since 2008, Anna joined Moore Kingston Smith in 2017 from Moore Stephens LLP.
