Dale Hernon

Dale Hernon is responsible for providing Moore Kingston Smith Licensed Insolvency Practitioners’ integrated creditor-facing solution, called KS Vision, for anyone suffering a financial loss or facing insolvency. Key is Dale’s ability to analyse complex situations quickly, build strong client relationships, provide reassurance, juggle multiple processes and often salvage seemingly lost causes.

Insolvency can affect any business, so Dale’s client base is broad – national insolvency and litigation law firms, banks, financial institutions, local authorities, alternative lenders, private equity and asset finance houses, leasing companies and other accountancy firms who don’t have debt-recovery expertise. More recently, he is seeing enquiries from the food, credit insurance and construction industries.

There is no typical day in client services. One day, Dale is brokering debt purchases with agents; the next, restructuring debt and renegotiating payment plans; the next, considering bankruptcy and alternative repayment methods, known as individual voluntary arrangements.

Dale takes on their burden, simplifies it, investigates thoroughly and finds the best course of action.

In his spare time, Dale enjoys travelling, restaurants, attending the gym and a wide range of sports, including football (a die-hard Leeds United fan), on and off-road cycling, and is a keen horse-racing fan.
