Davinia Douglass
An experienced member of Moore Kingston Smith’s tax dispute resolution team, Davinia Douglass is a non-practising barrister and member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. She specialises in HMRC enquiries, ranging from compliance checks to complex and serious civil fraud investigations initiated by HMRC.
Davinia also deals with disclosures to HMRC to assist clients with bringing their historic tax affairs up to date via HMRC’s digital disclosure service, let property campaign and worldwide disclosure facility or a specific HMRC team. Additionally, she has experience dealing with Schedule 36 information notices, penalty negotiations and HMRC’s counter avoidance teams.
She has a friendly and professional manner which puts clients at ease, at what can be one of the most stressful times in a taxpayers’ life.
