Debbie Jennings

As a member of the Chartered Institute of Tax, Debbie Jennings combines a high level of technical expertise with an ability to communicate complex VAT issues in plain English. Her relaxed and approachable style is valued by clients, contacts and colleagues alike.

Always one to deliver practical solutions, Debbie enjoys rolling up her sleeves and works hard to ensure that every client receives an individual service according to their unique needs. With over 25 years’ experience in VAT consultancy across a range of sectors, she has particular expertise in advising the nonprofit sector and all areas of property and construction.

Debbie has been heavily involved in preparing for and assisting schools with the introduction of VAT on school fees. This has included assessing possible opportunities for mitigating the impact of VAT (where appropriate) for the schools and the parents, and most recently, analysing the additional material released by the Labour government to determine the practical impact on the sector.
