A media specialist director in our corporate finance team with deep knowledge across the YouTube, marketing services and TV sectors, George works with founders and owner managers to help them best prepare their business for a sale, then navigating a deal to realise the best possible outcome. George is adept at quickly spotting commercial issues and enjoys providing diligence for serial acquirers in the media sector.
Some notable transactions that George has advised on include the sales of Gary Neville’s podcast, The Overlap to Global Media, children’s content channels, Blippi, Toddler Fun Learning to Moonbug Entertainment, 23Red’s sale to Capgemini and People Made’s sale to the Positive Change Group. MSQ’s acquisitions of The Forge, Precious Media and Wooshii, Trafalgar Entertainment’s acquisition of HQ Theatres and Hospitality and The Overlap’s acquisition of The United Stand and That’s Football.
