Hannah Kowszun
Hannah Kowszun has worked in the charities sector for nearly 20 years, holding roles in strategy development, fundraising, marketing and communications, and membership management.
As Programme Manager for Macmillan Cancer Support’s flagship fundraising event, the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, she was part of the team that grew income from £7m to £20m per annum. She also improved internal processes, enabling the charity to manage the increased growth effectively.
At the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, she took on the role of Head of Fundraising at the think tank New Philanthropy Capital (NPC), where she successfully transitioned to online stewardship and met fundraising targets.
Hannah holds a master’s degree in organisational psychology, with a specialisation in workplace dynamics within the charity sector. Her research on why fundraisers change jobs has been featured in Civil Society. She offers strategic advice and practical support to charities across a wide range of services.
