Helen works with a broad range of clients to help them improve their understanding of their social impact, and how to measure and manage it through their work. An advanced-level Accredited Practitioner of social value measurement, she is involved in conducting stakeholder engagement focus groups and interviews, research and report writing, and leading on some client liaison.
Additionally, Helen frequently presents at conference sessions and seminars. Helen’s specialist focus is working with organisations in the health and social care space, and those associated with improving mental health.
Having studied Natural Sciences at Cambridge, Helen pairs a scientific background with extensive volunteering experience and a five-year stint in the charity sector. Her analytical evidence-driven mindset melds with her warm empathetic style meaning clients find her very approachable while able to explain the technicalities.
Previously at the international membership network for social impact measurement, Social Value UK, Helen supported members in improving their impact practice. She also contributed to technical guidance documents and campaigns to increase and improve impact measurement.
In her spare time, Helen is a dance teacher and director at a community-run Argentine tango club in Liverpool, and volunteers for a helpline providing support for those in emotional distress.
