Helen North MCIOF

Helen North is a senior fundraiser and charity leader with over 30 years’ experience in a variety of roles. From Head of Individual Giving through to Chief Executive, Helen has a broad experience of all aspects of charity management and income generation. Areas of specialism include trusts and grants, individual giving, legacy gifts and corporate partnerships.

With experience of the particular challenges facing small to medium sized charities (Greenfingers, Transform Africa, Women’s Health Matters), Helen has worked as both in-house and as a consultant to bring about positive strategic improvements and impactful income generation. An unapologetic problem-solver, she has worked with charities to overcome difficult issues or situations, using logic, warmth, empathy and a people-centred approach. Key highlights include supporting Endometriosis UK to avoid closure, Epilepsy Society to launch a new service and Coeliac UK to double its voluntary income.

Helen is a member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising. She has also served as a charity trustee locally and continues to volunteer for her village magazine and local food bank.
