Jacinta Ashworth
Jacinta Ashworth is a market and social researcher with 30 years’ experience and is passionate about using research insights to help charities make a difference. She spent the first nine years of her career at leading research agency BMRB (now part of Kantar), managing quantitative research projects for local authorities, central government departments and charities; as well as some commercial research. Jacinta holds the Market Research Society Diploma and is a full certified member of the MRS.
Since 2001, Jacinta has specialised in quantitative and qualitative research for nonprofit organisations, to inform their image and branding, fundraising, supporter relations, campaigning, service delivery to beneficiaries and impact evaluation. She has experience of gathering data from charity donors, volunteers, members, trustees and beneficiaries. She is adept at managing research projects that integrate quantitative surveys with qualitative interviews and focus groups, and in preparing reports suitable for publication. She has worked for charities from a wide range of sectors, but particularly veterans, health, disability, international development, and environment.
From 2013-2021, she was a charity trustee at Thames Hospice.
