James Clarke

James Clarke is a member of the business valuation services team at Moore Kingston Smith, where he delivers his expertise in business and share valuations for commercial, tax and strategic purposes.

Before specialising in business valuations, James began his career in an accounts, advisory, and business forecasting background, where he delivered these services for several years. This provided James with a detailed understanding of both UK GAAP and IFRS, as well as financial modelling, which he brings forward into his current role.

James is a Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), and has experience completing valuations for a variety of businesses across different sectors and in diverse contexts. These include, but are not limited to, the issue of EMI share options, issues of growth shares, EOT transactions and capital gains.
