What strikes you immediately about Jeremy Read is his energy, curiosity and affability. With a refreshingly novel perspective on things, he offers strategic thinking in this VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex, ambiguous) world.
Jeremy heads up the Manufacturing and Distribution group and has a particular focus on food and beverage. His clients value his input on unmapped projects, often from an angle that they have missed.
Well-networked on both a personal and professional level, Jeremy is a facilitator of introductions. He brings together like-minded founders and funders to drive successful long-term ventures. He founded an ingenious platform where entrepreneurs pitch their clean-tech start-ups to investors looking for financial returns from initiatives that do good for society and planet – along the lines of the TV programme where budding inventors hope to secure swag and savvy from fire-breathing industry titans.
Based in the firm’s St Albans office, Jeremy has over 25 years’ experience of assisting businesses ranging from exciting start-ups to FTSE100 world-class organisations, working on audits, transactions and other ad hoc assignments. His particular passion is working with agile entrepreneurs, high-growth private equity and venture-backed game changers, and emerging listed groups.
Having previously worked in the big four and mid-tier firms, Jeremy set up and led offices for firms in the Home Counties and London. He has a natural affinity for and connection to these marketplaces.
