Joseph Colley
Joseph Colley has considerable experience advising clients in financial distress, having guided stakeholders through successful restructuring assignments on both a solvent and insolvent basis.
Having worked with both corporate and not-for-profit organisations across a broad spectrum of sectors, Joseph has acted as an advisor for a number of secured lenders undertaking cash flow monitoring, due diligence and business review assignments. Recent advisory projects include supporting a local authority where the firm’s role was to carry out viability assessments of applicants to a grant scheme.
As a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner, Joe takes all form of insolvency appointments and advises stakeholders in relation to winding down operations and placing corporate vehicles into voluntary liquidation.
Joseph is a Fellow of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants and a Fellow of the Insolvency Practitioners Association (IPA). Additionally, as an Approved Practitioner, Joseph works closely with the Charity Commission and is instrumental to this relationship.
He previously worked at CBW Recovery & Insolvency, which merged with Moore Kingston Smith in July 2025.
