Lauren Gilman

Lauren is a Partner in the firm’s West End office, specialising in financial, accounting, audit and tax advice to companies operating within the creative sector. Her clients range from film and television production companies claiming UK creative industry tax incentives to businesses involved in the financing and distribution of media content.

With over 15 years’ experience, Lauren provides expert advice on accessing UK creative industry tax incentives under both the Film and High-End Television Tax Reliefs and the Audio-Visual Expenditure Credit (AVEC). She offers clear, practical guidance on the structuring and financing of productions, the BFI cultural test and applications, opinion letters for financiers, and support through the full compliance process, including statutory accounts, tax returns and submissions to HMRC.

Lauren works with a broad client base, from small independent British producers to subsidiaries of major international streamers and television distributors, supporting projects across a wide range of budgets and production models from development through to delivery and exploitation.
