Louise Fryer

A member of the employment tax team, Louise leads the firm’s global mobility tax arm. She works with international companies varying in size from corporates with dedicated global mobility teams to companies who do not have a specific team dealing with globally mobile workers and who rely heavily on their service provider for international tax support and advice.

Louise works with clients on international tax and social security matters, including tax-efficient assignment planning, tax equalisation and protection programmes, short-term business visitors, non-resident directors, digital nomads, specialist payroll requirements, UK tax and social security compliance (employer and employee), cross-border share plan reporting and tax policy design.

Beginning her career at the big four, Louise has a wealth of experience working in the international world of global mobility and tax. She later moved to work within the mid-tier where she enjoys the range of opportunities and interesting client work. She has a particular focus on those expanding internationally where a coordinated approach is essential.

Louise excels at taking a set of complexities and finding solutions that work for her clients. Her clients value her ability to communicate complicated technical tax matters in an understandable way.

Louise is a Consultant Editor for Tolley’s Global Mobility/Employment Taxes and is a member of HMRC’s joint forum on expatriate tax and social security.
