Martin Palmer

Martin is a director in Moore Kingston Smith’s corporate and business tax team, focusing on tax accounting and audit work. An expert in tax accounting under IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP, he advises large corporate businesses across multiple sectors such as healthcare, biotechnology and other high-technology businesses.

Highly experienced, Martin has previously advised multi-national groups on cross-border issues including restructuring projects, refinancing, withholding taxes, diverted profits tax and hybrids. He has held roles at big four firms where he led tax accounting and audit projects for large and listed entities.

Martin been seconded in New Zealand and worked in-house at a top-five FTSE company, where he was responsible for improving processes and controls around group tax reporting, global tax compliance and statutory accounting.

Martin is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser.
