Matt Banton

Matt Banton is a lead partner in the Corporate Service audit team with an in-depth knowledge of and experience in the audit of large international groups. A particular area of his expertise is the audit of AIM and fully listed groups, where adherence to tight timeframes and technical detail is critical. 

Matt is the UK Head of the Energy, Mining and Renewables (EMR) group and the UK’s representative partner on the Moore Global EMR Steering Committee. His extensive client portfolio includes those in the energy, mining and renewables, technology and property sectors. A member of the firm’s technical committee, Matt also sits on several subcommittees, notably the audit quality working group and large audit working group.
