Michael Stubbings

Michael Stubbings is a chartered accountant with 20 years of experience, mostly in finance within the private sector. He is an experienced finance director, although his last permanent role in that sector was as CEO of a group of vertically integrated manufacturing, wholesale and hospitality businesses which he restructured and turned around through the pandemic. They continued to be successful, and he considers this to be his greatest professional achievement to date.

Michael has explored his interest in charity work over the years, as a trustee, as a pro bono non-executive director, and as a volunteer. In 2022 he decided to fully move across to the sector and he has since achieved an MSc in Voluntary Sector Management from Bayes Business School as well as a Diploma in Charity Accounting from the ICAEW.

Using his combined private and charity sector knowledge and experience, Michael is able to bridge that gap between the charitable and commercial worlds. He provides finance & commercial advice, strategy, leadership, and good governance consulting services to organisations with values, passion, and purpose.
