Ryan Davies
Ryan Davies is a licensed insolvency practitioner and partner based in the London office.
Ryan specialises in business restructuring, formal insolvency appointments and creditor advisory. With deep experience across administrations, liquidations, voluntary arrangements, bankruptcies and receiverships (Law of Property Act and Fixed), Ryan advises stakeholders through complex and often sensitive financial situations. He works closely with a wide range of businesses, particularly SMEs and owner-managed enterprises, guiding directors through financial distress with practical, solution-driven advice. In parallel, Ryan supports creditors helping them navigate default scenarios, enforce security and maximise recoveries. His increasing involvement in lender-led restructuring assignments reflects his ability to manage high-stakes situations with professionalism and commercial insight.
Ryan is known for his calm, measured approach, which clients consistently find reassuring during times of uncertainty. He combines technical rigour with a hands-on, tailored approach to each case, ensuring all parties are kept informed and outcomes are optimised.
Recent assignments include the administration of a high-street fashion retailer, a national shoe-shop chain, a builders’ merchant and a printing company, as well as the managed wind-down and closure of several independent schools. He has also overseen the liquidation of a number of prominent charities and undertaken Interim Manager appointments for the Charity Commission, ensuring sensitive and effective stakeholder management throughout. Several of these matters have involved international elements, including work in the Caribbean and cross-border recognition across multiple jurisdictions.
Ryan is a member of R3, the Turnaround Management Association (UK), and is licensed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
