Ryan Davies
Ryan Davies is a licensed insolvency practitioner based in the City office, handling insolvency and restructuring work. He takes appointments on administrations, liquidations, voluntary arrangements, bankruptcy, and Law of Property Act receiverships.
Working predominantly with SMEs and owner-managed businesses, Ryan works with directors facing financial distress as well as creditors facing default, including qualifying floating charge holders (QFCs). This provides him with full exposure to the insolvency and corporate recovery process. Additionally, larger restructuring work is becoming more frequent.
Given the delicate nature of insolvency, it is fundamentally important for Ryan to build strong relationships with his clients. Clients find his calm, gentle and confident manner extremely reassuring during these difficult circumstances. He always aims to provide focused, hands-on advice that is specific to each individual situation in order to secure the best possible outcome for all parties.
Recent administration work has seen Ryan assist a high street fashion retailer, large chain of shoe shops, SIPP provider, builders’ merchant, printers and a photographic agency. Ryan has also helped prominent charities wind down their affairs and placed them into liquidation.
He is a member of R3 Association of Business Recovery Professionals, the Turnaround Management Association (UK) and is licensed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales.
In his spare time, Ryan enjoys playing football, golf and squash, and going to the theatre.
