As Head of Data Privacy at Moore ClearComm, Shaun Beresford manages a team of privacy professionals who provide retained services to a large portfolio of clients.

He has significant expertise in driving data protection and compliance strategy within the public, private, charity and nonprofit sectors. With extensive knowledge of current data protection legislation, Shaun also has a strong track record of delivering critical business objectives on time, on budget and to specification.

Having previously worked in both the British Army and UK Police Service, Shaun has also engaged with various government departments and the UK’s criminal justice system. This rich experience gives Shaun an in-depth understanding of not only the legal requirements of both UK and EU data protection legislation, including the GDPR, but also the need to properly manage privacy within a major organisation.
