Stephanie Sharpe

Stephanie Sharpe works in the firm’s City office, advising private clients in all areas of their tax and intergenerational wealth planning, including family trusts. She forms long-standing relationships with her clients, many of whom have worked with her for decades, introducing the next generations to ease succession. Understanding the family dynamic is important to Stephanie, as is being a reliable, trusted, and plain-spoken advocate for the family.

Kickstarting her career at the Inland Revenue over 30 years ago, Stephanie is experienced in both sides of the client interaction with HMRC. She is a qualified Chartered Tax Adviser with much experience at large accountancy firms. She has a real-world understanding of her clients’ needs having been a Company Director in a voluntary capacity for many years.

One of Stephanie’s specialist areas is the acquisition and disposal of residential property, enabling clients to maximise advantages and navigate potential Capital Gains or Stamp Duty Land Tax issues.

Stephanie’s expert insight has led her to write many articles on topical subjects over the years for both the national press and technical trade publications.
