Moore Kingston Smith Corporate Finance has provided financial and tax due diligence services to Wonderhood Studios on its acquisition of Elvis Communications from Next 15 Group plc.
Following a record year of growth, Wonderhood Studios has acquired Elvis Communications from Next 15 Group plc, marking the next stage in its evolution as an independent British creative company built around captivating audiences for brands and broadcasters.
Starting out as WCRS in 1979 before later becoming Engine and subsequently Elvis Communications, the agency has operated as an award-winning creative and growth agency for more than four decades.
The acquisition creates a combined business of more than 130 people and strengthens Wonderhood’s position as the UK’s only independent creative company operating as both a leading advertising agency and premium television production company. The transaction provides additional scale, creative capability and access to an established client portfolio, supporting the next phase of Wonderhood’s growth ambitions.
Moore Kingston Smith provided financial and tax due diligence support to Wonderhood Studios, helping the business evaluate the acquisition and assess the opportunities and challenges associated with bringing together two complementary creative businesses.
The Moore Kingston Smith team was led by Charlie Killingbeck and Florence Horne, with tax support from Thomas Acland and Claudia Del Rio.
Charlie Killingbeck, Director at Moore Kingston Smith said:
“Wonderhood has built a distinctive position in the market by bringing together creative, advertising and entertainment capabilities under one roof. The acquisition of Elvis represents an important step in the company’s growth journey, adding further scale, talent and complementary expertise. We were pleased to support the management team on a strategically significant transaction as they continue to build one of the UK’s most exciting independent creative businesses.”
Sachin Dosani, Co-Founder and Group COO at Wonderhood said: “The acquisition of Elvis represents an exciting next chapter for Wonderhood as we continue to scale our business and broaden our capabilities.
